Clark of KS Partners handles 44,711 s/f lease expansion/renewal with Accellent

KS Partners, LLC, has leased 44,711 s/f of space to Accellent at 100 Fordham Rd. Neil Ross of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the tenant, while Tom Clark of KS Partners represented the landlord on behalf of Fordham Equity Partners LLC, a joint venture between KS Partners and GE Capital. Clark worked closely with Ross and Jeremy Friedman, CFO of Accellent, to bring the deal together which allowed Accellent to double in size. Clark said, "This was a fairly complicated transaction with many moving parts as Accellent was not just looking to renew but also to expand and establish a first class headquarters location that satisfied their long term growth requirements. We are thrilled to have been able to accommodate all of their needs." Friedman said, "Accellent is pleased to have reached this agreement with KS Partners, which will enable our corporate headquarters to accommodate the ongoing growth of our Wilmington-based engineering services group. Accellent has been a KS tenant since 2005, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with KS in the coming years." Ross was very pleased with the long term commitment noting that all involved worked extremely hard and at the end of the day it was a "mutually beneficial deal that meets the clients longer term expansion plans." KS Partners LLC is a commercial real estate owner and property management company which owns and manages income producing real estate assets in the Northeast. The KS Partners portfolio strives for value appreciation through the capitalization of improved leasing, repositioning or redevelopment opportunities.
