Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage recently donated $32,500 to The Home for Little Wanderers (The Home) through its charitable foundation, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares.
A total of $30,000 was raised through the company's annual golf tournament. More than 100 employees and sales associates affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, as well as local business leaders, participated in the golf tournament, which took place at the Wedgewood Pines Country Club in Stow this past fall. The donated funds will be used for The Home's Southeast Campus in Plymouth, a year-round residential and day school that serves adolescent boys and girls faced with emotional, behavioral and educational challenges.
Another $2,500 was raised through "6 for 60", a program under which Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares donated a gift card for every touchdown the Boston College Eagles scored during the 2013 football season to The Home's Big Wishes Gift Drive. Big Wishes is one of the Boston area's oldest and largest toy drives, supporting children and families who are served by The Home's programs across Boston and Eastern Massachusetts. The gift cards help meet the challenge of providing suitable holiday gifts for the teens that The Home serves.
"The employees and sales associates affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage are deeply committed to supporting The Home for Little Wanderers because they know that thousands of vulnerable children and families rely on the services that the organization provides. We are proud to consistently partner with The Home in its efforts to improve the lives of so many families throughout Eastern Massachusetts," said Pat Villani, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England.
Affiliated sales associates and employees in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Rhode Island donate a portion of their sales commissions or paychecks to Coldwell BankerResidential Brokerage Cares, which supports nonprofit organizations throughout New England. Since it was established in 2003, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares has donated millions of funds to hundreds of non-profit organizations in the region. Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares is the New England chapter of The Realogy Foundation.
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is the largest residential real estate brokerage company in New England.
