Coldwell Banker Residential donates school supplies to The Guidance Center

The offices of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England recently collected and donated school supplies to The Guidance Center, a nonprofit organization that provides support services and programs to at-risk children and families in Cambridge and Somerville. Sales associates and employees of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage donated crayons, colored pencils, paper, notebooks, glue, scissors, backpacks and other school essentials. The items were delivered to The Guidance Center's main office at 5 Sacramento St. in Cambridge in a van donated by ImageWise. The Guidance Center will distribute the items to the families it serves. "As a company committed to the communities we serve, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is pleased to once again offer our support to The Guidance Center," said Pat Villani, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England. "Our sales associates and staff wanted to make sure that the children served by The Guidance Center started off the school year on the right note with all the basic supplies they need to excel in the classroom. I am very proud of our team for generously donating so many school supplies." The members of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares, the charitable arm of Coldwell Banker Residential New England, host a Back-to-School Drive for The Guidance Center every fall. "We are grateful for the contributions and continued support of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. Purchasing new schoolsupplies is a real financial burden for the families that The Guidance Center serves as they struggle to pay for other necessities, so this recent delivery is greatly appreciated," said Katie Welch, director of development & marketing of The Guidance Center. The primary purpose of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares is to raise funds to provide financial assistance to housing-related causes in the communities where Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has a presence.
