Columbia appoints Gallant chief operating officer

North Reading, MA Columbia has appointed Shawn Gallant to the newly established chief operating officer role. Gallant, a 23 year veteran of the firm, most recently served as senior vice president.

This approach embodies the Columbia Way, which Shawn Gallant has embraced, championed, and lived throughout his career here,” said Columbia president Shaun Lover. “The chief operating officer is tasked with ensuring that we continue to provide a consistent approach and experience. Shawn is the perfect person to fulfill this role.”

Gallant has worked in a variety of roles at Columbia since joining the company in 2001, when he was hired as a project manager. He later served as a leader on the science + technology team and as vice president of the interiors group before assuming a company-wide senior vice president role with a focus on operations. 

Gallant has worked on projects for Cell Signaling Technology, The Chiofaro Company, Microsoft, Raytheon, Siemens Healthineers, Sonos, and Wayfair to name a few.
