Colwen Managements $8.5m Courtyard by Marriott in final stages

Colwen Management's new Courtyard by Marriott in downtown is planned to open this month. The new Courtyard by Marriott will be a full service 78,000 s/f, 100 room hotel including conference and event facilities for corporate and private functions of up to 200 guests. The contractor for the project is ProCon, Inc. Construction began on the facility in August 2009, and is currently in the final stages of obtaining LEED Certification; being constructed to meet the highest of environmental standards. The hotel cost $8.5 million, including FF&E to build. The new Courtyard is in ideal proximity to Keene State College, and many of the area's major businesses.
