Combined Properties Inc. has signed a lease with Line Drive Sports for 5,300 s/f of space at 89 Commercial St.
According to owner Lester Morovitz, "Line Drive Sports will provide Malden and vicinity with a new baseball and softball training facility offering batting cages, professional instruction, sports apparel and a food and beverage area. We will formally open the facility in Fall 2010 with introductory outdoor clinics & camps beginning in May and continuing thru August 2010. The goal is to provide an entertaining and learning atmosphere where players can enjoy the sport on both recreational and competitive levels to improve their individual games."
Line Drive Sports chose 89 Commercial St. because of the buildings infrastructure and parking as well as its proximity to the central business district, MBTA and solid customer base.
Vice president and director of leasing, Greg Regazzini represented Combined Properties; the tenant was represented by David Morovitz of REF Realty.
