CondoConnect 2025: Preparing communities for tomorrow’s challenges

Burlington, MA The CAI New England Chapter will host its signature industry event – CondoConnect 2025 Annual Conference & Expo – on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Burlington Marriott Hotel. From 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., condominium and homeowner association board members, community managers, business partners, and owners will gather for a day of education, networking, and solutions tailored to the evolving challenges of common interest ownership living. The full day event will also include free breakfast, lunch and parking.

Why This Event Matters
CondoConnect has long been recognized as New England’s most important educational event for the community association industry. At a time when boards and managers face rising costs, more complex litigation, and heightened resident expectations, continuous education is no longer optional – it’s essential. From navigating insurance markets and enforcing liens to responding to new legislation and managing difficult conversations, today’s decision makers must be informed, proactive, and legally grounded.

The conference will deliver just that. With sessions led by experienced managers, attorneys, contractors, insurers, and organizational development professionals, attendees will leave with practical frameworks and up-to-date knowledge they can immediately apply to their communities. The event has also been approved for four hours of continuing education for Community Association Management, International Certification Board (CAMICB) industry certification, making it an invaluable resource for managers committed to professional growth.

Key Educational Sessions
Morning breakout programs include:

• Managing Difficult Conversations – Practical frameworks for de-escalating tensions and guiding board discussions toward productive outcomes.

• Lien Enforcement: Maximize Your Recovery – Step-by-step insights into priority liens, assessments, and recovery strategies.

• Insurance Choices and Challenges – A panel of CAI-NE’s Insurance Committee covering HO6 policies, master policies, board D&O protections, and current market conditions.

• Condo Questions & Answers – An open forum with attorneys, lenders, contractors, and engineers to address maintenance, funding, and governance questions.

Afternoon breakout programs tackle some of the most pressing issues associations face today:

• Installation of Energy Saving Devices and Condo Statute Updates – Guidance on handling requests for EV charging stations and solar energy systems under new laws.

• Increased Litigation Against Boards: Are Your Directors Covered? – Exploring protections against lawsuits targeting boards and individual board members.

• Board Member Duties and Responsibilities – A candid look at common mistakes and legal missteps board members must avoid.

• Legal Issues and Advice – A closing panel of seasoned condominium attorneys fielding real-time governance and compliance questions.

Networking and Industry Access
Beyond education, the conference features an expansive exhibit hall where business partners – including lenders, contractors, insurers, and service providers – will be available to discuss tailored solutions for associations of every size. This marketplace offers boards and managers direct access to the products, services, and expertise needed to keep communities thriving.

Looking Ahead
As community associations face rising expectations, regulatory changes, and financial pressures, education remains the best safeguard. CondoConnect 2025 offers a one-day, comprehensive opportunity to gain knowledge, build connections, and strengthen the foundation for future success.

Mark your calendar for October 25 – and join CAI-NE at CondoConnect2025 in Burlington to ensure your community is ready for tomorrow’s challenges.
