Conn./Western Mass. chapter of SIOR holds quarterly meeting

The Connecticut/Western Massachusetts Chapter of SIOR recently held its fall meeting at the Wee Burn Country Club on September 11th. Approximately 25 members and guests were in attendance.
The business meeting featured the election of a new slate of Chapter officers, all of whom will be serving a two year term. They are Keith Kumnick, SIOR, president; Mark Duclos, SIOR, vice president; and Bruce Wettenstein, SIOR, secretary/treasurer.
The entire Chapter extends its thanks and gratitude to outgoing president Carl Russell, SIOR, CCIM for his leadership and dedication to the organization over the past two years.
Following the business meeting, members and guests adjourned to a networking social hour over cocktails and hors d'oeuvre's, followed by dinner. The evening's guest speaker was Melissa Pasquale, director of real estate at the Connecticut Economic Resource Center, Inc. (CERC), and an associate member of SIOR. Pasquale provided a very informative presentation with a background on CERC, its mission, and then highlighted the benefits and services CERC offers to its members while promoting and recruiting business in Connecticut.
