Connecticut Commercial Realty brokers 3 leases totaling 5,735 s/f

The New London office of Connecticut Commercial Realty & Select Homes has signed three new leases. First, the United States Government on behalf of the Armed Forces Recruiting Services, has signed a five year lease for 1,470 s/f of office space at 77 Salem Tpke. The property which is known locally as Salem Plaza is owned by Norwich Developers, LLC, an entity of the Pyramid Construction Group of Ramsey, N.J. Both the lessee and the lessor were represented Allie Resnik of Connecticut Commercial Realty's New London office.
Second, a lease of 1,100 s/f at 11 Wawecus St. has been signed by Terry Tougas owner of Roots Salon. Roots Salon, which is an established business in the Norwich community, has relocated to Wawecus St. from a previous Norwich location. The property at 11 Wawecus St. is owned by the Norwich Business Exchange, LLC. Paul Vardoulakis, owner of the latter, also has an office of his own business, Norwich Financial Services, at the Wawecus St. building. William Newman, broker for Connecticut Commercial Realty & Select Homes, served as a dual agent in this transaction. The new building has one additional available lease space.
A third lease has been signed for 3,165 s/f at Great Plains Plaza, for a term of five years with two five year renewal options. The tenant, Sound Community Services, specializes in mental health counseling and was represented in the lease transaction by Norman Peck of Pequot Commercial. The landlord, Plaza Enterprises, LLC was represented by Robert Schwartz of the New London office of Connecticut Commercial Realty & Select Homes. According to Schwartz, the plaza has remaining spaces that can accommodate tenancies between 1,900 and 6,500 s/f.
