Connecticut Commercial Realty sells Montville Church for $400,000

The New London office of Connecticut Commercial Realty & Select Homes has completed the sale of the former United Methodist Church property located at 270 Rte. 32. The property which consists of a 5,000 s/f sanctuary and a residence was transacted at a contract price of $400,000 on February 10. Broker William Newman of Connecticut Commerial Realty served as a dual agent in the sale transaction. The seller, the New England Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church was represented by attorney Bernard Campbell of the Salem, N.H. firm Beaumont & Campbell. The buyer, the Apostolic Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church was represented by attorney Hughs Griffs of the New London firm Waller Smith & Palmer. The buyer occupied the property for several years prior to the purchase under a lease-option agreement.
