Connecticut/Western Mass. SIOR chapter hosts golf outing

For the second year in a row, The Connecticut/Western Massachusetts Chapter of The Society of Industrial & Office Realtors held a golf outing at Tashua Knolls Public Golf Course. Members and guests were once again pleased to be treated by the town of Trumbull to a fun round of golf on one of the finest municipal courses in the region. The chapter would like to acknowledge Ed Lavernoich, Trumbull's director of economic and community development for his assistance in organizing the event and coordinating the involvement of several other town officials. Tim Herbst, first selectman of the town of Trumbull, welcomed all those in attendance at the golf outing and went on to speak about the community's ongoing efforts at being business friendly for firms considering this region of Connecticut. Following an afternoon of golf, a regular business meeting and dinner were held at Marisa's Ristorante. Zuvic, Carr and Associates generously sponsored the happy hour and dinner portion of the evening.
