Consigli builds Shalin Liu Performance Center
Consigli Construction Co. has completed the new 330-seat Rockport Music Shalin Liu Performance Center, located on Main St.
The project architect was Alan Joslin of Epstein Joslin Architects. Lawrence Kirkegaard provided the acoustic design.
Building such a venue on a ledge-filled, oceanfront site presented challenging logistics, as the site is located between other commercial storefront buildings in a tourist district. Construction was phased to cease during peak tourist seasons.
