Construction subcontract negotiation seminar scheduled for April 13 at Westin Waltham
On Monday, April 13, ASM will hold a seminar on negotiating construction subcontracts, from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at the Westin Waltham. A perennial favorite with ASM members, this seminar always packs the house, and we expect the same this year. It will include in depth review of "killer clauses" in construction contracts - both the obvious, and some lesser known - and will provide specific suggestions for ways to modify the provisions to mitigate the risk, without jeopardizing the deal.
Leading the seminar will be Attorney Carolyn Francisco of Corwin & Corwin LLP, who serves as counsel to ASM. Francisco has concentrated exclusively on construction law and litigation for 20 years, and has presented at many ASM seminars.
