The Copley Group expands management portfolio with deal with The Davis Cos.

Boston, MA Last year the Copley Group expanded its management portfolio with the addition of 250 apartment units in multiple buildings owned by Bobson Residential, LLC, an affiliate of The Davis Cos. The properties are located in the neighborhoods of West Fenway and Beacon Hill.

In its first year of management, The Copley Group has renovated 30 apartments that now feature efficient layouts, modern kitchens with quartz counter tops, new bathrooms with marble showers, and it will soon renovate the common areas. These improvements not only increased the value of the properties but have also improved the quality of life for the residents. The Copley Group achieved a rent increase of 6.4% portfolio wide.

Gary Hofstetter, senior vice president, asset manager for The Davis Cos. said, “Prior to Bobson Residential, LLC and The Davis Cos. purchasing a multi-site 250-unit residential Boston-based portfolio in April 2018, the ownership engaged The Copley Group to assist us in the due diligence process with the goal of The Copley Group eventually performing the permanent property management and construction services for the entire portfolio. Over the past year, our expectations for improvements to the portfolio have consistently been exceeded with The Copley Group’s professionalism, keen eye to detail, dedicated and knowledgeable staff, flexible market insight and vast resources to manage properties in the Greater Boston market.”
