Cottonwood Group unveils The Alyx, the final building at EchelonSeaport

Boston, MA Cottonwood Group unveiled The Alyx at EchelonSeaport, a luxury tower with 270 apartment homes located at 131 Seaport Blvd. in the Seaport District. The rental portion of the EchelonSeaport community, The Alyx sits adjacent to the condominium residences at 133 and 135 Seaport, A Regent Collection, and presents a unique array of studio to three-bedroom apartments with a suite of premiere amenities.

“We are very proud to introduce The Alyx at EchelonSeaport, which will deliver hundreds of beautiful new rental options to Boston’s thriving Seaport District,” said Alexander Shing, chairman and CEO of Cottonwood Group. “We are thrilled to see our vision of urban resort living come to life as we continue to create a luxury destination where residents can experience both the excitement of the city and a strong sense of community.”

 Designed by architects Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF), The Alyx showcases the signature stepped-tower design that takes its inspiration from the city’s Victorian neighborhoods full of brick and brownstone row houses and puts a modern spin on it, featuring oversized windows with city, courtyard, and water views. More than just an address, The Alyx offers a new way to live with access to 125,000 s/f of curated retail in a courtyard and indoor and outdoor amenities all within reach.

The building’s lobby and amenity spaces were crafted by interior designer, Jeffrey Beers International, to feel like an extension of one’s own living room; warm, inviting, and comfortable, highlighted by:

• A 75-foot outdoor Grand Pool with cabanas and lounge areas with fire tables;

• A 24-hour wellness center with on-demand fitness classes, and outdoor space for yoga & fitness activities;

• Pet-friendly areas that include an on-site outdoor dog run and play park.

• Multiple lounge spaces designed with a sense of community

• On-site family play center designed for exploration and fun

• Access to the Echelon Innovation Center, a first-of-its-kind lifestyle club & residential amenity for co-working, networking, and building community

• 24-hour concierge service called “The Alyx Standard” boasting unparalleled quality standards for residents.

The Alyx apartment interiors, delivered by architect firm CBT, feature ultra-modern kitchens with Italian cabinetry, Caesarstone countertops, and high efficiency appliances. Select homes include balconies and spacious outdoor terraces made for entertaining or relaxing. Penthouses boast a cutting-edge suite of Thermador kitchen appliances, white oak wood plank flooring, elevated ceilings, and panoramic vistas.

The Alyx at EchelonSeaport will be completed in 2020, and leasing is currently underway.
