SIOR host industry breakfast panel event at The Farm Country Club

Wallingford, CT The Conn./Western Mass. Chapter of SIOR hosted another industry breakfast panel event at The Farms Country Club. Featuring an environmental discussion focused on Connecticut’s Transfer Act changes and their impact on commercial real estate, over 100 professionals were in attendance. The moderator was Garrett Sheehan, president and CEO of The Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Transfer Act Working Group who effectuated meaningful regulatory changes with the Transfer Act recently. Panelists included Jan Michael Czeczotka, CT DEEP Div. director Bureau of Water Protection and Land Use; Pam Elkow, partner, Carmody, Torrance, Sandak & Hennessey LLP; Rachel Rosen, department manager, environmental services – Burns and McDonnell; Todd Andrews, senior vice president, economic and strategic development, Goodwin College; and Frank Hird, vice president, commercial real estate broker, OR & L Commercial.
