Dacon breaks ground on Tyco Valves & Controls 123,600 s/f manufacturing/testing facility

Dacon Corp. has broken ground for Tyco Valves & Controls LP's high-pressure steam manufacturing and testing facility at 55 Cabot Blvd. in Cabot Industrial Park. The project team includes Tyco's facilities/operational staff, Dacon, Diversified Project Management, Inc., Vanderweil Engineers and Field Engineering Co., Inc. This design/build project entails renovating a 123,600 s/f, one-story building formerly used as a carpet warehouse that was purchased by Tyco from Lincoln Property Company in November 2008. As the design/builder, Dacon will complete a wide range of renovations including a new roof membrane; 22,000 s/f of new and refurbished office space; 78,800 s/f of industrial manufacturing production area, shipping and receiving; and a 17,200 s/f high-pressure steam testing facility
