According to Keller Williams Realty, Brian Dapice has successfully negotiated the lease to move Detour Cars, LLC to a new location. Chris Everest of Nordlund Associates represented the landlord, 241 Newbury Street Realty Trust and Dapice represented the tenants.
The site will be located at 241 Newbury St., which is the former Hyundai Village location on Rte. 1. Dapice was approached by owners, Mike and Nick Markos to consolidate a 30 used car lot and sales center on Rantoul St. in Beverly and a Repair Center on Foster St. in Peabody into one 100+ car sales and service location. After considering several North Shore locations, the group settled on the Newbury St. location because of it's easy access from surrounding routes and the desire to expand their level of service outside of the North Shore.
