DAS Supplier Diversity Program

DAS Supplier Diversity director Meg Yetishefsky will meet with CT ABC members again this month. The purpose of the meeting is to review how those needing to complete CHRO Affirmative Action Plans could make better use of the DAS Certified Supplier Vendor SBE/MBE list. DAS continues to make the vendor list as user friendly as possible and the agency is interested in adding new categories or business codes to offer more search options, and thus more opportunities to SBE/MBEs. If there is a category or a business code that would benefit the DAS Class list, please contact faith@ctabc.org. Also of note, is the importance to review your company's profile on the current list to include services or products that may have been recently added. And it is always important to review the DAS Supplier Diversity website at www.das.gov, scroll down to Supplier Diversity, as there is a great deal of information that would be useful as either an employer or employee.
