David Adam Realty brokers six transactions totaling 30,203 s/f

David Adam Realty brokered six transactions totaling 30,203 s/f in Westport's downtown shopping district. At 101-107 Post Rd. East, Sharon Maddern of David Adam Realty represented the owner, WW 101-107 Post LLC in the lease of 11,572 s/f to Urban Outfitters. Alissa Bersin of the McDevitt Group represented Urban Outfitters. The leased space is part of the brand new 16,822 s/f 101-107 Post Rd. East development currently underway across from the Westport YMCA. The new Urban Outfitters location will consist of two floors, the upper floor on Post Rd. having 20' ceilings and the lower floor accessible from Church Lane. The remaining portion of the development is 5,100 s/f of restaurant space in the historic Sherwood House at 26-28 Church Lane.

In a separate transaction, Nike was represented by Maddern of David Adam Realty in the lease of 5,600 s/f at 69 Main St., previously occupied by The Gap. The owner, Malkin Properties, represented themselves. The introduction of Nike will enhance Main St.'s already impressive mix of national retailers.
David Adam Realty represented Brooks Brothers Women on a new 15-year lease of 4,230 s/f of space at 125 Main St. They are expanding in their existing space on Main St. SRS Real Estate Partners represented the owner, 125 Main Street Associates LP.

Maddern represented Rockwell Art & Framing in the lease of 1,230 s/f at 236 Post Rd. East. Franco Fellah of HK Group represented the owner. Maddern also represented Village Square of Westport LLC in the lease of 3,771 s/f at 181 Main St. to Gilles Clement Design, which was represented by Brian Dornan of Pyramid Real Estate Group. Both retailers are now open for business.
Lastly, David Adam Realty represented Balance Point in the lease of 3,800 s/f of office space at 87 Post Rd. East. The office is located on the second floor of the historic flat iron building that was previously home to the Westport Bank and Trust Company.
These six transactions are a significant contribution to the revitalization of downtown Westport. David Adam Realty will continue to encourage and be actively involved in this positive trend.
