The Davis Companies appoints Simpson as executive vice president to lead creative, brand and communications strategies

Andrea Simpson

Boston, MA According to The Davis Companies (Davis), Andrea Simpson has joined the firm as executive vice president of creative, brand and communications to oversee all aspects of Davis’ external communications efforts.

“Andi brings strategic vision and a tremendous depth of experience that is highly valuable as we continue our growth,” said Stephen Davis, president of Davis. “Her experience in guiding external communications and branding significant projects throughout Greater Boston, and beyond, will help Davis advance its portfolio in an increasingly dynamic market and create additional value for our tenants and our investors.”

Prior to joining Davis, Simpson served as senior vice president of creative and marketing strategy at Samuels & Associates where she led the public relations, marketing and activation teams.

, with a focus on creative, communications and community engagement across all company departments. Most recently, Simpson led the successful launch and phased opening of Lyrik Back Bay, Boston’s first air-rights project in over 40 years, setting the stage for tenant openings, world class art, and a full line up of year-round activations bringing an entirely new sense of gravity to Back Bay. Prior to Samuels and Associates, Simpson held senior roles at various leading real estate firms, leading B2B and B2C communications and strategic marketing initiatives.

“Ingenuity, entrepreneurialism and innovation run deep in Davis' DNA. It is a company widely respected for its dedication to communities, people and positive transformations. Out of the box thinking, placemaking, and engagement will help position Davis and its portfolio in this next chapter.”

Simpson’s experience leading the naming, launch, positioning, and opening of Assembly Row in Somerville as a new neighborhood destination uniquely prepares Simpson to position dynamic projects across Davis’ portfolio. In addition to her work at Assembly Row, she also was a key team member for positioning of The Prudential Center and Atlantic Wharf where she led marketing across BXP's Northeast Region; and Faneuil Hall Marketplace as the head of tourism and marketing.
