Dedham Savings appoints Mullin as executive vice president, mortgage banking

Dedham, MA William Mullin recently joined Dedham Savings as executive vice president, mortgage banking.  Mullin has been involved in mortgage banking for a number of years and previously held senior positions at The Provident Institution for Savings, Cambridgeport Bank, and Hunneman Mortgage.  He most recently served, for the past 12 years, as the president of NE Moves Mortgage, an affiliate of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.  During that time, NE Moves closed more than 72,500 loans, totaling in excess of $18.2 billion dollars.

Mullin is a graduate of Harvard College and the New England School of Law.  He is a licensed MA Attorney.  Mullin previously served on the board of the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association and is currently a board member of the Mortgage Advisory Board. 

He lives with his wife Virginia in West Roxbury.

In speaking of his thoughts on joining Dedham Institution for Savings, Mullin said, “I have always been very impressed with Dedham Savings.  Having had multiple dealings with Dedham over the years, I truly believe that it is one of the premier financial institutions in Massachusetts. I look forward to working within the Bank to build on its great existing operation and to ensure that the Bank remains a leader in the residential lending marketplace.”
