Delphi Construction to attend ribbon cutting of new Swansea, Mass. library

Swansea, MA Delphi Construction will join the town, local officials, and members of the project team to celebrate the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly-expanded Swansea Public Library. This long-anticipated event marks the completion of a transformative project that more than quadruples the library’s size while preserving its historic character.

Originally built in the 19^th century, the library has undergone a major expansion from 3,700 s/f to over 19,000 s/f. The upgraded facility integrates modern infrastructure and accessibility standards, including new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, full ADA compliance, and an elevator, while maintaining the distinguished original façade.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony brings to a close a construction journey that began with a sunny groundbreaking and continued through months of progress, from foundational work and exterior trades to interior finishes and final systems integration.
