DESCO Co. completes Anytime Fitness renovation including flooring, painting and stone wall

The DESCO Co. completed the renovation of Anytime Fitness at 690 Depot St. The project was completed with minimal disruption to the daily operations of the club. During the renovation Anytime Fitness remained open, except for a three day shutdown for demolition of existing floors and installation of new flooring. The fitness club received a complete overhaul which included demolition and construction of changing rooms, newly constructed stone wall, new carpet tile flooring, vinyl plank and rubber flooring, along with a complete new paint theme. "Our track record of success working in occupied spaces, ensured delivery of this complex renovation project, with no impact to the everyday operations of the club" said Jaime DeSousa, owner and president at DESCO. "My goal has always been and will continue to be about putting the client first and building relationships. I've been in the construction business for fifteen years and I plan on continuing to be in the construction business for a very long time, so maintaining a positive reputation is very important. Five years ago, I managed the complete build-out of this Anytime Fitness, fast forward to today, and the same club I built five years ago, is using my services for the reinvention renovation. It says something about someone, their ability to maintain a relationship over that period of time. It's about treating people with respect and being fair." DESCO specializes in interior renovations of occupied spaces. Anytime Fitness is an international franchise with over 2,142 locations worldwide and 25 clubs in Mass. and 4 more planned.
