Developers of Gateway at Scarborough to build 90,000 s/f at Gateway Sq. for Fairchild Semi.

The developers of the Gateway at Scarborough project said that Fairchild Semiconductor Corporation has signed a lease with them for a major new energy efficient office building.
New England Expedition - Scarborough, LLC principals Gene Beaudoin and Barry Feldman will build a three-story, 90,000 s/f building for Fairchild on the Gateway Square property which is adjacent to the Haigis Pkwy. and across the Payne Rd. from the developers' 210,000 s/f Gateway Shoppes, which includes the new Cabela's and a variety of other retail stores and restaurants.
The building will incorporate sustainable design strategies and state-of-the-art technologies to reduce the company's carbon footprint, lower operating costs and improve the comfort and well being of its associates. The building will be seeking LEED Silver Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

Martini Northern of Portsmouth, has been selected as construction manager for the project.
