Diversified Project Management completes refresh project for LEGO Systems

Diversified Project Management, Inc. (DPM) has completed an extensive building-wide "refresh" project for LEGO Systems, Inc. Janet Wheeler, senior project planner and Jackie Krewalk, assistant project manager were the key players on the DPM team. LEGO Systems retained DPM to provide comprehensive services from pre-construction through relocation for its Compass House building refresh project. DPM worked with existing programming, done within LEGO Systems, to provide multiple design layouts to show how the internal departments would fit within the existing building in a more cohesive manner. The project started with an initiative to standardize workstations and office spaces. Once the layout was approved, DPM then coordinated the RFP's for carpet and painting services to "refresh" the finishes in the building. An overall phasing plan to move out staff, renovate and relocate back into new configurations, happened over a two week period. Six overall phases were required to finalize all of the areas within the Compass House building. DPM provided contractor oversight with coordination of in-house LEGO support, such as IT, telecom and facilities departments. DPM also provided move oversight services to relocate staff out of and back into renovated areas. About Diversified Project Management, Inc.
