Raynham, MA DJSA Architecture PC has hired Devin Olson as an architectural designer.

In this role, Olson is involved in all phases of the firm’s projects from schematic design through construction administration.

Prior to DJSA Architecture PC, Olson was with Walker Consultants where she employed her Building Information Modeling (BIM) skills to assist architects and engineers with the drawing/designing of parking garages.

Olson’s architectural education began in high school at Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School in Rochester, Mass., where, as a CAD student, she was given the opportunity to explore different fields in the industry, including mechanical engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, and product development. She continued her education at New England Institute of Technology where she received a Bachelor of Science in architectural engineering. Olson is currently exploring options in pursuit of a master’s in architecture.

“Devin is an excellent addition to the DJSA team,” said Dennis Swart, president of DJSA Architecture, PC. “Her skill, artistic energy, and attention to detail are of great value to our organization.”

Olson’s hobbies include reading and photography, noting that her grandparents owned Old Tyme Photos in Plymouth, Massachusetts, “so photography is in my blood.” She runs the photo studio at Edaville Railroad in Carver where she captures photos of kids with Santa.
