Domoretsky, Plaisted and Scribner of CBRE lease 101,144 s/f at 300 and 600 Federal St.

Andover, MA CBRE brokered four new leases totaling 101,144 s/f at 300 and 600 Federal St., a two-building complex redeveloped to accommodate office, life science and R&D companies.

The CBRE team of Dom Domoretsky, Alex Plaisted, and Jack Scribner represented the ownership, a partnership between Celera Properties and True North Management Group, in the dealmaking.

The recent leases include 54,172 s/f of new leasing and 46,972 s/f of renewals. Among the new tenants at 600 Federal St., Technology Greenhouse has relocated its operations from Woburn to the building’s newly built-out lab space. At 300 Federal St., Integrated Gastroenterology Consultants (IGC) is opening a surgical suite.

“Andover is a dynamic market with a mix of R&D, life science, office and medical users, and the redevelopment of 300 and 600 Federal St. has created a compelling location that can meet the needs of these companies,” said Domoretsky. “We are thrilled to have completed these new leases and renewals at the complex.” Brian Carlisle of Celera Properties added that “our Andover properties have bucked the trends of softness elsewhere in the market by offering a high-quality, high-value option for companies with a variety of needs in an economically thriving campus – we are thrilled to be partners with our tenants in their success.”

300 and 600 Federal St. are located in Andover Technology Park off I-93 and River Rd., with access to a large labor pool and two airports, and are near major hubs such as Kendall Sq. The complex has upgraded electrical service, natural gas service, backup power, loading docks, gravity-fed pH rooms, and other features supporting life science and R&D users.

Amenities of the property include a new lobby, renovated fitness center, new grab-and-go café, updated outdoor and courtyard seating, and outdoor walking trails.
