The New England SIOR Chapter members during the spring of 2009 completed a number of major advisory and transactional assignments. Corporate America and regional corporations indicated that the SIORs are the premium brokers in the office/industrial New England real estate markets whom they entrust for expert knowledge and skills. The spring of 2009 experienced approximately 445,319 s/f of commercial real estate valued at approximately $37,406,973 represents that trust.

* Wayne Spiegel, SIOR of Meredith & Grew represented EPP Real Estate LLC as the seller of 85 Hayes Memorial Dr., Marlboro for $2.1 million. The property consisted of 28,000 s/f on 1.99 acres and was fully occupied.
* Jim O'Neil, SIOR of Nordblom Co. negotiated the sale of a 1.5-acre industrial land site at 829B Middlesex Tpke., Billerica. O'Neil represented the buyer, Ron Donohue, and the seller, Middlesex Development LP.

* Garry Holmes, SIOR of RW Holmes leased 21,216 s/f of office space to Framingham Heart Study at 73 Mount Wayte Ave., Framingham.
* Sheldon Rodman, SIOR and Tom Sweeney, SIOR, both of Rodman RE concluded a $3.5 million sale of an office/industrial building at 2080 Plainfield Pike, Cranston, R.I. The building is 43,000 s/f on 6.46 acres and purchased by Cadence Science Inc. and the seller was Quill Associates. Rodman also sold a 13,000 s/f building at 604 Park Ave., Cranston, R.I. to Self Storage Corp. for $1.3 million. He also sold a 5,000 s/f industrial space to L&L Enterprises, LLC at 37 Narragansett Ave. for $245,000.

* Greg Hastings, SIOR and Tom Dunham, SIOR of NAI The Dunham Group sold a 29,000 s/f industrial building for $1.05 million at 600 County Rd., Westbrook, Me. The buyer was Brawn-Acker LLC.
* Jim Nicolletti, SIOR of CBRE leased 9,050 s/f to MediaTek, Inc. for Normandy Real Estate Partners at Dedham Place, Dedham.
* Jim Elcock, SIOR of Meredith & Grew represented LSI Corp. in the office lease of 5,633 s/f at 114 Turnpike Rd., Westboro.
* Tony McDonald, SIOR of CBRE/Boulos leased 5,000 s/f of warehouse space to IDEXX Laboratories at 85 Bradley Dr., Westbrook, Me.
* Chris Tosti, SIOR of CBRE represented IDEX in a build-to-suit lease of 80,000 s/f with Campanelli Co. in Middleboro.

* Tom Farrelly, SIOR of Cushman & Wakefield sold One Liberty Lane, Hampton, N.H. for $3.4 million for Thermo Fisher Scientific. The building contains 103,413 s/f.
* Jim Boudrot, SIOR of NAI Hunneman leased 3,365 s/f of office space at 7 NEEP, Burlington to Odyssey Systems Consulting Group.
* Gerry Surprenant, SIOR of MG Commercial leased 27,000 s/f at 84 Dunham St., Attleboro to National Environmental Systems, Spenser Organs Co. and GHP Associates.
* Drew Sigfridson, SIOR of CBRE/Boulos represented Allagash Brewing Co. in its lease of 3,250 s/f of warehouse space at 53 Industrial Way, Portland, Me. Sigfridson also renewed a lease of 6,500 s/f of warehouse space at 17 Patrick Dr., Westbrook, Me. He then leased 18,565 s/f of warehouse space to Velocity Express in the Saunders Business Park, Westbrook, Me.

* Rob Nahigian, SIOR of Auburndale Realty Co. completed an industrial lease of 7,200 s/f with AIC and Scopro Rigging at 95 Fitchburg Rd., Ayer. He also leased 33,200 s/f of warehouse space to SuperClean in Ayer. He then represented Sleep Health Centers in the medical/office lease of 2,210 s/f at 84 Faunce Corner Rd., N. Dartmouth. Then he represented Hooper Holmes, Inc. in the office lease of 1,717 s/f at 222 Forbes Rd., Braintree. Chris Tosti
