Cambridge, MA Siena Construction hired Nick Durkee as a project manager. In his new position Durkee provides leadership and supervision with all aspects of Siena’s construction projects, including estimating, organization, and coordination from pre-construction through project closeout.

Durkee brings a decade of construction and project management experience to Siena, with a strong background managing academic and commercial projects. He has been involved in multiple aspects of construction management as a project manager, estimator, field supervisor, laborer, and facilities maintenance manager.

Representative projects from Durkee’s previous tenures highlight a variety of residential and commercial experience: Quincy City Hall renovations; office and retail fit outs for Downcity Outfitters, Justinas, and Working Planet (all in Providence); Otis Air Force Base in Sandwich; as well as educational facilities for Boston College, The Angier School (Newton), The Brooks School (North Andover), and multiple jobs on Brown University’s campus, including renovations for the school’s biomedical, geosciences, and math departments.

The addition of Durkee as a project manager marks a period of continued growth for Siena.

Siena’s president Terrence Hayes believes Nick’s professional priorities and achievements complement the firm’s goals.

“Nick is a great addition to our expanding team of experienced professionals,” Hayes said. “He is knowledgeable, charismatic, and personable. His proven history of excellence in project supervision complements Siena’s client-first philosophy. I’m excited to welcome Nick onboard.”

Durkee holds a Massachusetts Certified Construction Supervisor’s License, and OSHA 10 Certification. He received a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
