Elliot & Co. brokers two new retail leases on behalf of CMI Properties totaling 5,000 s/f in Dedham, Mass.

Elliot & Co. LLC has negotiated two new leases on behalf of CMI Properties at 800 Providence Highway. CMI Properties is adding 5,000 s/f of retail space to the existing strip mall at the site. Elliot & Co. negotiated a lease for 1,800 s/f plus a drive-though with Dunkin' Donuts at the retail site, which is located along Rte. 1 across from Dedham Plaza and immediately adjacent to the new Legacy Place mall. Dunkin' Donuts signed on for a long-term. Also taking space at the site is European Wax Center, which inked a 1,200 s/f lease. The Florida-based hair-removal salon, which is the world's largest such franchise with nearly 200 locations, agreed to a long-term lease at the newly developed space. Managed by CMI Property Inc., the new retail addition will bring total square footage at the two-building portfolio at the site to 50,000 s/f. Elliot & Co. is the exclusive leasing agent for the property. Another 1,800 s/f of end-cap space remains available for lease at 800 Providence Highway, with the space sub-dividable into two 900 s/f retail units. "We're very excited to introduce two world-class tenants at this prime retail space," said Elliot Ravech, president and principal of Elliot & Co. "With its proximity to one of the region's most innovative shopping centers, Legacy Place, and across from street from Dedham Plaza, 800 Providence Highway offers tenants the type of traffic and visibility that guarantees success." Ravech added that the new space is sub-dividable for smaller tenants that may include coffee shops, clothing and gift shops or retailers providing personal services. Existing tenants in the two-building portfolio at 780-800 Providence Highway include Bed Bath & Beyond, Verizon Wireless, The Vitamin Shoppe and Massage Envy. Elliot & Co. is one of the region's premier commercial real estate brokerage firms, specializing in leasing and investment sales of office, industrial, R&D and retail properties in Greater Boston.
