Equity Office leases 47,000 s/f to Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom at 500 Boylston Street

Equity Office has recently signed a lease with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, one of the nation's prestigious law firms. The firm is moving its office to 500 Boylston St., taking 47,000 s/f. The branch will vacate its One Beacon St. offices next March and move into the Equity Office-owned 500 Boylston. "We are delighted to welcome Skadden to 500 Boylston St., one of our premiere class A buildings in the Back Bay. We look forward to a great tenant coming into the building, where they will enjoy the numerous amenities that the building and the area have to offer," said Ryan Enright, vice president of leasing for Equity Office, which owns the 25-story property. "We look forward to moving to our new location next March," said Skadden office leader Margaret Brown. Located in the historic Back Bay, 500 Boylston St. shares a full city block with 222 Berkeley St. Together, the two buildings are considered the premier buildings in the Back Bay submarket. It has 715,000 s/f of rentable space.
