Equity Residential donates $25,000 in money and services at Charles River

Equity Residential held its annual community service day supporting the Esplanade Association's 9th Annual Earth Day clean-up, resulting in $25,000 in money and services. Equity Residential organized 100 employees and landscaping staff to donate 6 hours each as a follow-up to the Earth Day Clean-up Weekend at the Charles River. Additionally, Equity Residential engaged their vendors: T&K Asphalt, Michael Shea Co., Down to Earth Landscaping and R&S Landscaping to support the effort. Work included: installation of picnic tables, landscaping, cleaning and painting, fence repair, line striping running trails and parking. Equity Residential has donated the company wide community service day to the Esplanade Association for the past 3 years.
