Equity Residential's West End Apts. receives two 2009 Pillar Awards

Equity Residential won two awards for its West End Apartments development at the recent Pillars Awards ceremony, sponsored by the National Association of Home Builders. Located in the city's West End and completed in Spring of 2008, the West End Apartments secured Best High-Rise Apartment Community and Best Brochure awards. "We are very proud of the national recognition we have received for both the project and the Boston market," said Greg White. "We believe the West End Apartments are a great new addition to this community, one that reflects a true collaboration between the city of Boston, the West End community and Equity Residential." The West End Apartments are the first development by Equity Residential in the Boston Market. The project added 310 new units of housing to the city's housing pipeline and was the first residential development in the West End in over 20 years.
