Erland Construction hires Bobrowski as director of business development for western region

Hamden, CT Erland Construction has hired David Bobrowski as director of business development for its western region, where he will work alongside the region’s other director of business development, Mike Petro. Bobrowski will be based in the company’s Hamden office, where he will apply his knowledge of and experience with the Connecticut market to identify and capitalize on business-generating opportunities in the construction industry.

Having grown up in Connecticut and with more than 30 years of experience as an energy specialist, Bobrowski has extensive industry connections with developers, state and local government officials, corporate decision-makers, architects and other professionals throughout the state. As Director of Business Development, he will also be able to apply his background in energy conservation to provide colleagues and clients with input on energy-saving products and programs for their projects.

Prior to joining Erland, Bobrowski served as an Energy Specialist for World Energy in Cromwell, where he established relationships with end-users to retrofit their existing facilities for updated lighting, heating, cooling and refrigeration systems. He is a graduate of an education from Hartford State Tech/Prince Tech and holds multiple licenses and certifications, including Master Electrical License E–1 and a CEEF Certification from CL&P. He also has affiliations with the Construction Institute of Connecticut, Hartford Business Group and Connecticut Congress.
