December 09, 2022 - Owners Developers & Managers

Boston, MA Existing Conditions has presented its first “Innovation Challenge” offering over $5,000 in prizes, including internships and/or externships, cash stipends, and a real-world site visit to a high-profile site as Existing Conditions performs a 3D laser scan and existing conditions survey.

Students studying architecture, design, planning, and related disciplines were encouraged to apply. Participants created a design proposal for a mixed-use development site provided to them by Existing Conditions.

The jury is composed of well-known architects and engineers, including Kevin Deabler (RODE Architects), Michael Samra (studio TROIKA), Graham Clegg (STUDIOS Architecture), and members of the Existing Conditions team.

Students in architecture, design, planning, and related fields should take advantage of this unique opportunity to highlight their research abilities and design skills. Early-bird registration runs from October 10, 2022 to October 31, 2022 at a discounted rate of $25.00. After the early-bird registration period, the entry fee for the challenge will be $50.00, and will remain open until November 25, 2022. The submission period begins on November 1, 2022 and ends December 9, 2022. After the period ends, no more challenge submissions will be accepted. On December 16th, the challenge winner will be announced during the remote awards ceremony, from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm EST.
