Fairlane Properties has also retained Brent Maugel and Mark Pelletier of Maugel Architects to work with tenants to design a new front façade and other building improvements. Assisted by VHB, Fairlane has received Town of Westwood approval for a 500 foot walkway connecting the property to East Street with quick access to both the Islington MBTA Commuter Line Station and the Islington Village shops on Washington Street. With this direct walking route to the Islington MBTA Station, employees of prospective tenants will have access to the Back Bay and South Station.

VHB has also worked with Fairlane Properties to provide scenarios to create additional parking and additional loading at the property. Currently with 263 spaces, parking at 80 Wilson Way can be expanded to 360 spaces, allowing for a greater density of office uses.
