Fidelis Security adds XPS Edge sensors to Extrusion Prevention Sys.

Fidelis Security Systems has added Fidelis XPS Edge sensors to its award-winning Fidelis Extrusion Prevention System family of appliances. With this introduction, Fidelis broadens the scope of its product offering to include DLP solutions designed to scale to an enterprise's multi-faceted needs such as network speed from 25Mbps to 2.5Gbps and the ability to protect information flowing from remote offices all the way to the network core. By bringing together the complete network sniffing capabilities of the company's Fidelis XPS Direct appliance and the ICAP-based proxy integration of its Fidelis XPS Proxy appliance into a single appliance, Fidelis XPS Edge is the ideal solution for organizations with decentralized network egress points to further protect themselves from the harmful effects of data leakage at the remote office level. Perfectly suited for organizations with decentralized network egress points, the new Fidelis XPS Edge family of products extends an organization's ability to deploy market-leading DLP protection at the remote office level. "We are pleased once again to give our global enterprise customers more options to increase the depth of their information protection abilities in order to further protect themselves against the harmful consequences of data leakage," said Peter George, CEO, Fidelis Security Systems. "The addition of the Fidelis XPS Edge sensors to our award-winning Fidelis Extrusion Prevention System family of products provides organizations with decentralized networks a cost-effective and easy-to-manage solution for the protection of their digital assets." Fidelis XPS Edge is designed to simplify deployments of network DLP at the internet gateway by providing award-winning visibility and control for all outbound network traffic—whether direct to the internet (regardless of port) or via a proxy server, resulting in comprehensive DLP inspection in a single appliance with a single appliance-based cost. Fidelis XPS Edge sensors are available in two configurations: Fidelis XPS Edge 25 (for networks up to 25Mbps) and Fidelis XPS Edge 100 (for networks up to 100Mbps) with pricing beginning at $40,000. About Fidelis Security Systems Since 2002, Fidelis Security Systems has given global enterprises the power to prevent data leakage while solving their biggest data leakage challenges—safeguarding intellectual property and identity information, complying with government and industry privacy regulations, and enabling visibility into and control over their networks.
