Fish of Suffolk Construction honored by the Boston Bar Foundation

Suffolk Construction chairman and CEO John Fish was honored with the 2011 Public Service Award by the Boston Bar Foundation at its annual gala. The affair was held in the new Art of the Americas Wing of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and attended by more than 600 of the city's legal and business movers and shakers. Fish was chosen for this award because of his philanthropic commitment to the community and various charitable organizations. The Boston Bar Foundation raised more than $545,000 from the event and will use the money to provide grants to help the community with legal aid. Fish was accompanied by his daughter Christina, a student at BC Law School. Also in attendance, Boston Bar Foundation president John Donovan of Ropes and Gray, and his wife Donna. Suffolk president and general manager of the Northeast region, Mark DiNapoli and his wife Laura, legal legend, Bob Popeo of Mintz Levin and his wife Brenda, and Larry DiCara of Nixon Peabody.
