Fisher joins Parsons Brinckerhoff

Ian Fisher has been named a senior capital estimator in the Boston office of Parsons Brinckerhoff, (PB).
In his new position, Fisher will be responsible for providing cost estimating services on major design and construction projects.
He has over 27 years of experience in the design and construction industry, with expertise in the development of cost estimates during the conceptual/preliminary design phases of projects, through detailed engineering and bid phases, and during construction. Prior to joining PB, he was a chief estimator at a Boston cost estimating firm, where he was responsible for project coordination for a wide range of facilities, from parking garages to courthouses.
Fisher earned a B.Sc. degree in quantity surveying from the Leeds Metropolitan University in the U.K. He is a Professional Associate with The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in the U.K.
