Francis of R.W. Francis & Co. completes $5.5 million purchase to Hamlin of Waltham Ventures

According to Robert Coleman of Coleman & Sons Appraisal Group, the $5.5 million sale of 1022-1036 Main St. has been completed. Coleman represented the seller of the property, Main St. Realty Trust. Robert Francis of R.W. Francis & Co. represented the buyer, Ross P. Hamlin of Waltham Ventures, LLC. The former Ford dealership property, consisting of approximately three and a half acres, will be re-developed into a retail strip center to be known as Main Street Marketplace. The center will contain 45,000 s/f of retail space. Some of the new tenants include Panera Bread, Chipotle, Five Guys Burgers and Fries and Supercuts. According to Francis, Waltham Ventures, LLC has also purchased the former Bickfords Restaurant at 1006 Main St. for $1.6 million. That one acre site will become the main entrance and parking for Main Street Marketplace.
