Freeport Village Station wins ABC Excellence in Construction Award

Freeport Village Station was recently named by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Massachusetts Chapter as the recipient of the Merit Award for Excellence in Construction. This premier program recognizes outstanding quality and craftsmanship in construction in the U.S. The award was presented November 17 at the BuildBoston conference in Boston. Arrowstreet is the project's master planner and architect, with a team including developer Berenson Associates, construction manager A.J. Martini, and landowner L.L. Bean. "The entire team deserves accolades for making this challenging construction project a success," said Arrowstreet's Sean Selby, project manager. Freeport Village Station is a pedestrian-friendly lifestyle center bringing 118,500 s/f of new retail to the downtown core. The team designed and built a two-level, 550-space garage—the first in Freeport—underneath a retail plaza that is on grade with Main St.
