Manchester, CT Fuss & O’Neill has welcomed the team from PLACE Alliance Northeast, which will grow the firm’s established landscape architecture service offerings. Working out of Schenectady, NY and Springfield, MA, these landscape architects, planners, and designers bring specialized expertise in the fields of ecological restoration, green infrastructure, open space planning, flood mitigation, and urban design (including downtown and waterfront revitalization projects). These talents pair well with Fuss & O’Neill’s entrenched landscape architectural team, which has, for many years, assisted New England communities by providing master planning, streetscape, urban development, housing, and design services. Together this robust team can offer a plethora of services to clients throughout New England and New York.

Stephanie White, RLA, CNU-A, LEED AP, who has been a senior landscape architect for more than a decade with Fuss & O’Neill is excited about the growth of the team.

“I’ve always been proud of the clients we’ve been able to help throughout New England. Whether it’s a new educational campus layout, streetscape improvements to drive economic growth, or creating a healing garden to help patients recover, our work has improved peoples’ lives. With a bigger team, we’re going to be able to help a lot more people and communities. I’m very excited about the potential of this team.”

Ian Law, RLA, said, “My colleagues and I are so excited to be part of such a well-respected organization. The merging of our respective talents creates a powerhouse team with unlimited potential. I cannot wait to see what we create together.”

Fuss & O’Neill offers landscape architectural services for both public and private clients. Recent projects include the green roof top terrace design at the Nightingale Redevelopment in Providence, RI; streetscape and green street design for Pine Street in Pawtucket, RI; the 101 College Street rooftop plaza in New Haven, CT; and the Sidney GreenPlain, which is a floodplain restoration and recreational development, in Sidney, NY.
