Galaxy to host golf tournament at Pleasant Valley June 19

Sutton, MA Galaxy Development has planned a major MA Life Science golf tournament. The Life Science Women in Pharm and Ethnocultural Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (ISPE WIP/EDEI) Juneteenth Golf Tournament to benefit Project Onramp with a full slate of 144 golfers will be held Monday, June 19th.

In honor of Juneteenth, the ISPE WIP/EDEI Golf Tournament will be held at Pleasant Valley Country Club at 95 Armsby Rd.

This tournament is a large attraction for the life science industry in Mass. and throughout the nation.

 drawing golfers, along with many others that will join the event after golf for food, beverages, awards, raffles, and a silent auction. A portion of the golf fee and all the silent auction proceeds will go directly to Project Onramp.

The life sciences industry is breaking down barriers by creating opportunities for underserved and minority populations in Massachusetts, New York, San Diego, and Philadelphia. While it can be difficult for students from these populations to gain access to internships, Project Onramp works with companies to enable these students to get that first experience.

Galaxy Life Sciences, LLC of Webster, MA in collaboration with Galaxy Links, LLC who purchased the country club in December of 2022 coordinated the event with ISPE WIP, EDEI and Project Onramp.
