E. S. Boulos Company (ESB) safety director Michael McCarron, OHST said that ESB safety team member Steve Gammon has recently received his CHST certification, issued by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, based in Illinois.
Gammon has met all experience and education requirements for certification. The CHST certification exam covers safety and health inspections, safety training, safety and health record-keeping, hazard communication compliance, safety analysis and planning, accident investigations, project management, OSHA, and other inspections.
McCarron said of the certification, "As a construction health and safety technician, Gammon provides a key role for ESB in the protection of workers, the public, property and the environment at the job site."
