Gates promoted to PM at J. Calnan & Assoc.
J. Calnan & Associates, Inc. has promoted Molly Gates from assistant project manager to project manager. In this capacity, she will be responsible for advancing JC&A's ability to deliver superior project management services to clients.
Gates will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of projects from preliminary planning through the construction and final occupancy. Her responsibilities include supervision of staff and subcontractors, trade coordination, logistics and safety planning, subcontractor buy-out, contract negotiation, requisition review and approval, financial status reports, budget reports, quality control and client satisfaction.
Gates earned a Bachelor of Science degree in architectural engineering from Tufts University. Her professional experience encompasses the involvement in multiple projects across various sectors including corporate interiors, life sciences, private schools and advanced technology ranging from $4 million - $15 million. Gates is a LEED Accredited professional as well as a member of several industry-related associations and affiliations, including the National Association of Women in Construction.
