Dotti Giametti has been installed as 2011 president of the Kent Washington Association of Realtors (KWAR). She was sworn in on October 7th at the association's election, installation, annual meeting and recognition night, which was held at the Quonset O Club. Giametti is a sales associate with Weichert, Realtors - Cress & Co. in East Greenwich.
Giametti has been a member of the Kent Washington Association of Realtors since 2001 and has served the association in many capacities, including as a member of the KWAR executive committee, as treasurer, vice president, and president-elect. She has also served on the grievance, golf tournament, government affairs, nominating and personnel committees, and has been chair of the finance and awards committees. She also serves as a director for the Rhode Island Association of Realtors.
Other Kent Washington Association officers sworn in were president-elect Angela Dupouy of Randall Realtors/GMAC Real Estate in Wakefield, vice president Cheryl Eley of Residential Properties, Ltd. in East Greenwich and Carl Coutu of Keller Williams Central RI in Cranston. Directors Fatima Finamore, Bettina Monaco, Cely O'Brien and Kathleen Schmitt were also installed. Dean deTonnancourt was honored as 2010 KWAR Realtor of the Year.
