Gilbane Building Company completes two mixed-use
life sciences buildings in Boston area

10 Prospect Street - Somerville, MA

Somerville, MA Gilbane Building Company has completed two pioneering life sciences facilities near Boston.

USQ, located at 10 Prospect St., is a LEED Gold and WiredScore Platinum site in Union Sq. that spans 205,000 s/f, merging lab and office spaces. The property features ground-floor retail and seventh-floor amenities.

The second facility, located at 250 Arsenal Place in Watertown, Mass., is a 255,000 s/f class A structure that offers office-lab suites, research spaces, and amenities including a café and rooftop installations.

“The Watertown and Somerville communities are transforming into rich sub-clusters of research and innovation, and we’re proud to deliver these highly efficient buildings that will play host to groundbreaking research for generations to come,” said Justin MacEachern, vice president and business unit leader for Gilbane in Massachusetts.
