Goldschmidt & Associates brokers 38,000 s/f lease for Crate & Barrel

Eric Goldschmidt, senior partner at Scarsdale, N.Y. based Goldschmidt & Associates has represented Crate & Barrel in their first retail location in Fairfield County. The property is located at 1200 Post Rd., just off exit 18 of I95. The ownership was represented by Steven Crowley of SCA Realty. Goldschmidt reports that his company was given the assignment in the 1990s to search out the perfect location for Crate & Barrel. The search had many "twist and turns" for years until Crowley presented what turned out to be the right location at the right time. Pam Bren Goldschmidt describes that the transaction took lots of patience and perseverance, but it paid off with the opening of the new 38,000 s/f location. Goldschmidt & Associates has represented many major retailers in various transactions in the past - Kmart, CVS, Webster Bank, Bed Bath & Beyond, Bank of New York, TJ Maxx and others.
