Golub of The Stonewood Companies and CEA leasing agent for 350,000 s/f SouthCoast Marketplace project

Fall River, MA The long-awaited redevelopment of the former New Harbour Mall is under way.  SouthCoast Marketplace opens to the public late summer, bringing a variety of restaurants, stores and entertainment to this prominent property at Exit 1 on Rte. 24.  

Market Basket will open an 85,000 s/f store.  They believe that SouthCoast Marketplace is the ideal location to service the residents and the surrounding communities.

Picture Show at SouthCoast Marketplace, an11-screen movie theater, will be located on a central plaza at the center of this project.  The theater will offer the latest innovations including luxury reclining seating, quality food options, self-service soda machines, and a beer and wine bar.  

TJMaxx, Petsmart, Staples and 110 Grill have also announced plans to open in SouthCoast Marketplace.

“Our objective of this redevelopment is to create a dynamic marketplace with inviting public spaces and top-quality,” said Steven Cohen, president of CEA Group, the project’s developer.   “The end result will be like nothing else in the region.”   

Ron Golub, principal of The Stonewood Companies and CEA partner, is leasing the project.  “We are selecting tenants to serve the everyday needs of the local residents while also providing specialty shops, entertainment venues and dining options new to the area,” Golub said.  

This 350,000 s/f project has commitments for over 80% of its space already.
